O grupo Os Quentes da Madrugada &#8211; Carimb\u00f3\nda Irmandade de S\u00e3o Benedito de Santar\u00e9m Novo representa a\nluta de diversos grupos da cultura tradicional. Durante dois anos\nde luta pelo reconhecimento e tombamento do carimb\u00f3, que fez o\ngrupo seguir tocando carimb\u00f3 do Par\u00e1 \u00e0 Bras\u00edlia e recolher assinaturas por dezoito dias para conseguir o devido reconhecimento do\nInstituto do Patrim\u00f4nio Hist\u00f3rico e Art\u00edstico Nacional (IPHAN). Devotos de S\u00e3o Benedito, h\u00e1 duzentos anos a Irmandade mant\u00e9m a\ntradi\u00e7\u00e3o de tocar carimb\u00f3 por onze dias ininterruptos em homenagem ao santo bendito. O grupo, que est\u00e1 em sua quinta gera\u00e7\u00e3o,\nanima as madrugadas de Santar\u00e9m e tem como mestre carimbozeiro \u201cSeu Dico Boi\u201d, que aos 75 anos mant\u00e9m vivo o legado:
